Why I hate Motif

I hate Motif because it does scroll bars badly (Athena scroll bars are much better) and because it works badly with implicit focus (there's always some unnecessary window popping up into which I have to move the mouse pointer, and then it's still not working, because I have to move the pointer not only into the window, but into the input field (the only one in the window) to type something in). And mwm wastes lot's of screen real estate for borders (I use twm).

I use only one Motif application: Mosaic; and the thing I dislike most about it is Motif. Fortunately, with w3-mode I use it less and less often.
